Number 44: Humerus, Radius and Ulna: V.I.B.s

These are the three main bones of the arm. The radius is one of my favorite bones because it actually crosses over the ulna in certain positions, and then straightens itself next to the ulna in others. Pretty spiffy. And I can’t help wondering if the name of the upper arm bone attached to one’s elbow, known as “the humerus” gave rise to the term “funny bone.”

Very Important Bones
